RISE-26 is an incredible mission accomplished with the help of our crowd-funding efforts. Without our audience, there would be no RISE-26. It’s our hopes that RISE-26 helps us and other researchers better understand severe weather.

Project WeatherEye has been at ground-zero of so many severe weather events, hours before they happen. It only makes sense that we make the move towards collecting useful data, which could help better call he shots when storms begin forming.

We initially planned to create massive storm and radar archives, but decided to take on the huge feat of creating a system (that didn’t exist) to live stream our weather balloon launches and probe deployments live, as they happen. No more waiting, no more refreshing the page hoping the 0z sounding has populated.
